Hello, I am Racheal Smith, owner, and esthetician of Blank Canvas Esthetics. I am a 2008 graduate of Von Lee International School of Aesthetics in Baltimore, Maryland. Over the past decade, my love for skincare and helping clients on their path to healthy skin has only grown. I started Blank Canvas Esthetics with the firm belief that simple and consistent skincare produces the best results, and I’ve carried that through to everything that this space is today.
Blank Canvas is not just my business but my passion. Your skin is the largest organ on your body, and it reflects everything going on inside and out! As your esthetician, I am continuously educating myself on the anatomy of the skin and ingredients to better it.

My love for esthetics was a result of my love for microblading. As a microblading artist, I desired a deeper understanding of the skin and an urge to learn more about how our body’s largest organ works and how to protect it. I am grateful to be a part of a stellar team that provides first-class skincare and encourages and supports continued growth and education.
I believe a good skincare routine with good products and an experienced esthetician is all it takes to achieve smoother, brighter, and younger-looking skin. Rachel is so wonderful! I contacted her from a friend’s recommendation and don’t regret it! I went to Rachel for my pre-wedding/honeymoon spray tan and did a couple trial runs with her beforehand and it came out exactly how I pictured. The products she uses are great quality and long lasting – My spray tan lasted about TWO WEEKS and she gave me tips on how to prolong it and take care of it as well. She is so knowledgable and made me feel comfortable throughout – it was my first spray tan experience! Definitely going back to her whenever I need a fresh glow up.
